ISACA Boise President’s Letter

Hello and Welcome,

My name is Andrew Richter and I am the current President of the Boise Chapter of ISACA.  On behalf of the entire Board of Directors I’d like to welcome you to the 2009-2010 year!

This is an exciting time for the Boise Chapter as we mark our 30th year as an active member of both the community and national affiliation.  We have many activities planned on both the local and regional level.  First, we are proud to be hosting the 2009 Western Region PCM Meeting that will bring chapter leaders from all over the west to Boise for 2 1/2 days of events and sessions.

The chapter is planning a full slate of CPE lunches and seminars for our local members.  Our focus is bringing the most relevant topics to you, so you can take what you learn and put it to work.  Additionally, we will be working with other professional organizations in the Treasure Valley to bring you even more opportunities for personal networking and CPE education.  In this challenging time, your board is focused on making the time you invest with ISACA the most beneficial for you and your career.  Our goal is to be the professional organization of choice in the Treasure Valley.

I look forward to meeting all of you in person throughout the year and welcome your comments and suggestions for how ISACA Boise can best serve you as IT Governance, Audit and Information Security professionals in the Treasure Valley area.

-Andrew
